Sunday, February 19th, 2012

As a traveling musician, you are going to see that the MapQuest application can be incredibly useful. The reason for this is that it can keep you posted on all the most important information that you want to know about while you are traveling. Here we are going to talk about some of the ways that professional musicians can use this application to have a much more convenient time on the road.

The first reason that you should learn how to use MapQuest if you are a musician is that it is going to help you find the lodging that you need. If you have a large crew, or you have some pets that are in the tour bus, you are going to need a hotel where everyone can fit. This is a great thing that you can do with the application by plugging in which hotel you are interested in. The screen will promptly show you where all the hotels are in the area where you are located.

If you are driving from place to place, it may be hard to know exactly where you will be when you get hungry. However, as a musician you have to watch what you eat so that you can stay healthy and strong. You can use the MapQuest application to find your favorite chain restaurants no matter where you end up when you are hungry. Again, all you will have to do is plug in the information and let the application do the work of finding the places.

You can also use the MapQuest application to find the cheapest gas. This can be a great thing if you are a new musician, since you may not be making enough money to fuel the entire tour bus yet. You can also use the program to avoid traffic jams, which may be essential to help you arrive at your gig on time.

The main thing to remember is that MapQuest is incredibly useful. You can use it as a traveling musician in tons of different ways. The main thing that you will find is that it helps you with the directions, and also to meet your needs along the way.

The only thing you really have to do is make sure that you are being safe. If you are going to use the MapQuest application, do not use it while driving because this can be distracting. Instead, have someone else enter the information that you are looking for.

Available Rooms at Bargain Prices

Wednesday, February 8th, 2012

The majority of the hotel and accommodation industry in the UK suffers with around a 60% occupancy rate, meaning that most nights, 40% of their rooms are unsold.

In London however, things are different.

The capital city of the UK has an 80%+ occupancy rate, so finding deals on great hotel rooms here can be a little more difficult.

Yet, there are great deals to be had if you know where (and how) to look for them.

Obviously the best place to search is online using terms such as London hotel offers or London room deals. These kind of searches will be likely to find you independent or chain hotels which have last minute rooms available, or advanced booking special deals.

They will also show up many comparison websites which will make it easy for you to compare hotels, locations and offers so you can get the best London hotel room for your budget.
